Dimboola Community Mural Project

Some of the artwork on our  website and Facebook page has been created through the Hindmarsh Shire Council Community Art Initiative, as a community mural project. Artworks have been contributed from students at Dimboola Primary , Dimboola Memorial Secondary College, Dimboola and District Historical Society, Connect Ed, Dimboola Town Committee,and Dimboola Painting and Sketching Group.

 The Dimboola community mural project will be unveiled the weekend of the Art Show.

Dimboola Arts Inc committee are proud to announce the Inaugural Dimboola Art Show2013
8th of November 2013

The theme for 2013 is the essence of the Wimmera. There are three main categories; Traditional, Contemporary and Sculptural. Within these main categories, artists have free reign to depict their creative impression of the Wimmera. Artists are encouraged to be innovative in their connection to the Wimmera.

Artists can depict the Wimmera through abstraction, realism, modernism, landscape, flora, fauna, found objects, mixed and interdisciplinary media. The committee, local artists and community want to share their rich art history with a wider Australian and International audience. The Dimboola Art Show would like to become a celebrated part of the Wimmera art scene.
